As of April 30, 2018, Laura Snitzer is resigning from the IGCS. For the past 11 years, Laura handled administrative and membership duties and provided excellent customer service to IGCS Members. Laura has been an invaluable staff member, serving as the “front line” for you, our members, in answering questions by email, phone and when representing the Society onsite at various international meetings.
President Michael Quinn expressed, “Laura been a fantastic advocate for our members over the years, often acting as a liaison between the members and leadership to ensure that the Council is aware of the multifaceted needs of our diverse, international membership. She will be missed, and we wish her well.”
Now that IGCS has shown success in the expansion of its membership model and is working with volunteers to expand and develop new programs, we have hired a full-time employee to meet the growing membership and administrative demands.
I know that Laura has formed a lasting connection and trusted relationship with our members over the years and I would like to express my gratitude for all she has done for the society over the last decade.
