Information regarding the understanding of COVID-19 is continually evolving and its impact on the care of gynecologic oncology patients is rapidly changing. Bringing together the global gynecologic oncology community under such unprecedented circumstances will allow IGCS to learn the needs of our members and further expand our education offerings. IGCS has had great success using the Project ECHO tele-mentoring model to host virtual tumor boards over the last three years.

We are now expanding our Project ECHO Virtual Tumor Boards, extending an invitation to our members to come together to discuss gynecologic oncology cases with special considerations for COVID-19. We will host a series of three virtual tumor boards in the coming weeks.

The Project ECHO Model:
An international faculty will present a problem-based case presentation followed by a 10-minute didactic lecture specific to COVID-19. The presentations will be followed by 20 minutes question and answer segment. Participants may submit questions or submit topics of discussion at the time of registration or ask questions during the session.
